Back Priming
Back priming is a pretty self-explanatory term. When you apply a primer coat to both the front and back of an exterior siding product,
then you are back priming. The advantage of this process is that is protects the wood on all of its major surfaces, and can significantly
extend the life of the wood. Moisture is kept out of the wood fibers more effectively because there is a barrier of primer that surrounds
the wood entirely. It does take extra time, but in wetter environments, it is well worth the trouble.
